United Way Coordinator Central
A Message From the Campaign Chair
Thank you for taking on the challenge of inspiring your colleagues and leading your workplace's United Way Campaign this year. As the 2013 Campaign Chair, I know that taking on such a volunteer commitment can be challenging, and the staff at United Way and I truly appreciate your willingness to devote the time and energy it takes to run a successful Campaign.
The pages in this website will provide you with a variety of tools and ideas to help make your experience easy, fun, and successful. If you have any questions, or would like to share your own ideas and suggestions, contact your United Way Account Executive or call 887-2614.
In a community with great history and tradition and promise, but facing challenges, we need to concentrate our efforts on key areas and make sure that we are making the best possible use of the resources available to us. Through a community based open process, the United Way helps us identify our most pressing needs, supports the programs and activities that are most effective in addressing our challenges, and then carefully measures the results. While it is important to talk about program funding and outcome measurement, what is truly important is the lives that are changed - the stories rewritten for people in need - every day because of your commitment. You make a difference with your time, talent and treasure.
Thank you again for stepping forward to inspire giving to United Way this year. On behalf of all those whose lives will be changed because of your efforts, thank you for rewriting their stories.
