Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County

It has been said that you can not manage what you can not measure.  On November 4, representatives from United Way, the UB Regional Institute, the City of Buffalo, Erie County, and a number of local foundations and human service agencies gathered to discuss the possibility of measuring our community’s needs by working together to create a community-wide health and human service report card.

This tool would enable our entire community to develop a greater understanding of the most significant issues, so that we can enhance our ability to serve those who are most in need through focused programs and investment decisions aligned with key indicators.

This conversation will continue in the coming months and we will keep you informed on the progress of this important conversation and future project potential.
