25th ANNUAL UNITED WAY DAY OF CARING - WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 16, 2017
The United Way Day of Caring is the largest one-day volunteer event in Western New York. It promotes the spirit and value of volunteerism and demonstrates the power of LIVING UNITED. The Day of Caring generates positive community relationships and helps to develop contacts between volunteers, agencies, and workplaces. This annual event gives each of us an opportunity to roll up our sleeves and work together to make a difference in nonprofit agencies in our community, and for the people they serve.
Volunteer Projects are half day (9am to 12noon) or full day (9am to 3pm).
Volunteers must be 18 years of age to participate.
Projects are located throughout Buffalo & Erie County.
Projects consist of painting, landscaping, activities and field trips with youth and seniors, habitat clean up, build playgrounds and assemble picnic benches.
