UGIVE.org is the best resource for volunteer opportunities for high school students.This free, easy-to-use online service helps students find volunteer projects tailored to their interests and energy, and helps schools keep track of students' community service activities.

2-1-1 is a free, confidential telephone and internet service that provides information and referrals to health and human services.  In an emergency, always dial 9-1-1; but if you need help and don't know where to turn, dial 2-1-1.
