BLACK HISTORY MONTH
Join United Way as we celebrate our local Black community
Black History Month is a time to celebrate influential leaders and impactful moments of the past. But celebrating Black history is not enough. The work of rebuilding an equitable and more resilient Buffalo & Erie County is not done.
A quality education begins with reading. When children are able to read to learn, they imagine more richly, develop a stronger vocabulary and engage in critical thinking. For United Way, increasing access to books is one way we help set kids up for future success.
