Get to Know Laura Dolan, Women United Co-Chair

What do you enjoy most about being a Women United member? 
It is incredibly inspiring to be around this group of successful, like-minded women who are dedicated to making an impact in our community. There is nothing more powerful than the will of a woman, and when we join forces, it’s exciting to see that there is no limit to what we can achieve. Having fun at events like Women Who Care and Gateway to Golf is icing on the cake!
 

Favorite piece of advice or quote from another woman? 
“Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.” – Ruth Bader Ginsburg
 

What’s something you’re proud of?  
Well, personally I’m a very proud mom of two college students who will be graduating with their master's degrees this year and next and are incredibly passionate about the issues facing our country. They continually inspire me and the work that I am proud of, getting to lead Bank of America’s 650 Buffalo teammates’ engagement in the community and our local DEI efforts.
 

Favorite WNY destination that deserves more attention? 
The Freedom Wall at the corner of Michigan Avenue and East Ferry Street is part of Albright-Knox’s Public Art Initiative and painted by local artists.
