Change doesn’t just happen. It’s created when we choose to improve the lives of babies and parents who need it most.

Being a parent can be a challenge for anyone. It can be even more difficult for expectant parents who already struggle to make ends meet. You can show how much you care for our newest community members and provide valuable encouragement and support to new moms by participating in this year’s Community Baby Shower.

When you join the 2025 United Way Community Baby Shower, you are giving more families a good start—and that builds a stronger community for us all.

  • Nursing Pads
  • Baby Books
  • Digital Thermometers
  • Clothing (Sizes NB – 12 Months)
  • Baby Blankets

Besides the items listed above, United Way accepts all donations of new baby items.

Resources to Host Your Shower

Use our toolkit of downloadable resources to help you host a baby shower! In addition to the resources in the toolkit, by hosting a baby shower you gain access to United Way guest speakers who can answer questions and share information on the work being done in this area. Contact Suzette O’Brien, suzette.obrien@uwbec.org, to schedule a guest speaker for your shower.
