Executive Edge
Summary
Executive Edge @ United Way is an exclusive leadership program tailored specifically for nonprofit executives, offering a distinctive approach to professional development through a group of peers. This program brings together nonprofit leaders in a confidential and supportive environment to share experiences, address current challenges, and gain valuable insights from one another. Guided by a skilled facilitator, participants are introduced to the latest concepts in effective leadership, allowing them to grow and become more impactful leaders.
Program Structure
Embrace the power of collaborative learning during ten (10) 2-hour in-person peer sessions held monthly from January to December, with a break in July and August to accommodate busy summer schedules. These sessions provide a valuable opportunity to step away from the pressures of daily operations and focus on higher-level thinking with the guidance and support of peers and a skilled facilitator. They foster an atmosphere of confidential sharing and peer-supported growth.
Executive Edge @ United Way is composed of up to 30 WNY nonprofit Executive Directors and CEO’s.

The 2025 session dates are listed below. All sessions will take place from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at United Way of Buffalo & Erie County.

Our Facilitator
Sesha Yalamanchili is a leadership consultant and trainer with more than 15 years of experience as a business leader. Her mission? To implement programs, inspire leaders, teams and individuals to create inclusive environments where everyone has an equal opportunity to flourish. Sesha is the President of On The Mark Counsulting. Interested in the 2025 cohort?
- Must be the chief executive (Executive Director, CEO, President, etc.) of a nonprofit agency in WNY.

- Participant fee of $499
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Payment will be due at the time your application is accepted.
