Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
Imagination Library in Erie County
United Way of Buffalo & Erie County is proud to bring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to members of our community in parts of Erie County (current eligible zip codes: 14201, 14204, 14213, 14215, 14218). The Imagination Library mails free books monthly to children from birth to age five, promoting early literacy and a lifelong love of reading. More than two decades of research have shown that this program is highly effective in improving home literacy environments and children’s attitudes towards reading.
All children between birth and age five who live in the following Erie County zip codes are eligible to enroll: 14201, 14204, 14213, 14215, 14218.
Enroll Your Child
How it Works
- Sign Up: Parents or guardians can enroll their child/children online in just a few minutes. ALL children from birth to five in a household are eligible and will receive a unique delivery according to their age!
- Receive Books: Once enrolled, your child/children will receive a new, carefully selected book each month. *Please allow eight to twelve weeks for the first book to arrive.
- Read Together: Enjoy the magic of reading with your child/children, knowing that you’re helping them develop critical early literacy skills.
