Women Igniting Change
Women United is a network of like-minded women who inspire and motivate others through philanthropy, leadership, and volunteerism. Members mobilize the caring power of women as they work to improve the Health and Wellness, Education, and Financial Stability of individuals & families in Buffalo & Erie County.
A powerful philanthropic force, Women United also facilitates conversations and initiatives with the goal of promoting equity and empowerment for women – at work and at home.
Membership
Women United members donate $500 or more annually to the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County. Gifts can be made as a one-time donation or spread out throughout the year (weekly, monthly, quarterly).

Gateway to Golf 2024
Monday September 9, 2024 | 9 am – 3 PM
They say deals are made on the golf course, and Women United wanted to make sure that the women in our community were a part of them! Join us for a 9-hole scramble or participate in a Get Golf Ready clinic where you can practice chipping, driving, putting and more with local golf pros.

International Women’s Day Breakfast & Discussion
Friday March 8, 2024 | 9 am – 11 am
Women United’s International Women’s Day Breakfast & Discussion has sold out again! We’ll be spending the day celebrating the power ow women who give back. A casual, intimate breakfast and mingling will be followed by a fireside chat with Nicole Johnson-Scales, a thought leader in Women’s Leadership and Corporate Social Responsbility, and a short awards program.

Women United members are able to take advantage of unique volunteering opportunities year-round!
- WNY Girls In Sports – Help empower young girls through the power of sports at our bi-annual Girls In Sports event. Read more …
- Community Baby Shower – Collect and pack baby bundles for new mothers in-need at our annual Community Baby Shower Packing Party.
- Family Volunteer Day – Bring the whole family and tackle a large-scale volunteer project, like meal packing for local food pantries.
