United Way of Buffalo & Erie County (UWBEC) announced a matching grant of $100,000 from the National Fuel Gas Company Foundation to encourage contributions from individuals and companies across Erie County to UWBEC’s Join the Fight campaign.

At the end of March, Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, which includes a provision to encourage charitable giving during this difficult time. Learn more on how it works.

Women United held it's first Gateway to Golf event, bringing together over 125 women to learn golfing skills, play in a scramble tournament, and get to know each other. The event capped off with a keynote by Mary Wilson on the transformative power of sports in her life and what it can mean for all young women.
