WHY PITCH10?
This year marks the 10th Anniversary of United Way of Buffalo & Erie County’s Pitch10 and we’re celebrating in a big way!
For a decade, Pitch10 has helped elevate emerging, grassroots nonprofits across Buffalo & Erie County by connecting them with funding, visibility, and invaluable leadership resources they need to grow their impact. This milestone event will attract up to 1,000 attendees for a night filled with fun and impact.
Join us at the iconic Shea’s Performing Arts Center for an unforgettable evening as the 10 take the stage to compete for a share of $50,000 in prize grants. Each organization will deliver a live pitch sharing how their work and initiatives align with United Way’s main focus areas of advancing Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, or Healthy Community. Pitch10 is more than a competition; it’s a launchpad for nonprofit growth. Every finalist receives personalized coaching and presentation training, helping them strengthen their storytelling, refine their message, and build skills that benefit their organization long after the event. Finalists also compete for a prize package that includes the top grant of $25,000, scholarships to United Way’s Executive Edge leadership program, and Board Leadership Training scholarships for their board members.
