Board Leadership Training

Board Leadership Training is a valuable course that prepares you for meaningful board service while connecting you with organizations seeking new leaders. Whether you’re an aspiring or current board member, a nonprofit professional, or simply passionate about making a difference, this course provides the tools and insights you need to drive impact and champion the causes you care about.

Board Leadership Training participants are invited to attend a spring Board Match Event at United Way to meet with nonprofit organizations and learn more about available board and committee positions. Graduates have the opportunity to find the best match for their skills and interests, and nonprofits receive individuals ready for hands-on board service.
