26th Annual United Way Day of Caring
Wednesday, August 15th, 2018
The United Way Day of Caring is the largest one-day volunteer event in Western New York. It:
- Promotes the spirit & value of volunteerism
- Demonstrates the power & impact of United Way’s mission
- Generates positive community relationships
- Helps to develop contacts between volunteers, agencies & workplaces
- Gives each of us an opportunity to roll up our sleeves and work together to make a difference
Projects:
- Painting, landscaping, habitat clean up, building playgrounds, assembling picnic benches, activities/field trips with youth & seniors
- Located throughout Buffalo & Erie County Half-day: 9:00 a.m. – Noon
- Full-day: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Must be 18 years of age to participate
Registration
Nonprofits:
- Nonprofit agency registration: March 2 – May 2, 2018
- Agencies must have 501(c)(3) status
Companies:
- Company/Corporate volunteer registration: March 30 – June 4, 2018
