Proposal Process
The United Way of Buffalo & Erie County’s 2025 Request for Proposal (RFP) investment process provides an opportunity for nonprofit, 501(c)(3) health and human service agencies in Erie County to submit proposals for funding in line with our focus areas: Healthy Community, Financial Security, and Youth Opportunity.

Serving the community
Using a combination of poverty rates, ALICE prevalence, and economic mobility, this map highlights the Census block groups in Erie County with the highest need. The 2025 investment process will prioritize funding programs that serve people living in these areas. You can zoom in to specific neighborhoods or streets by using the plus and minus icons at the bottom right of the map.
