From Amherst to East Aurora, no matter where you live in Erie County, your neighbors are part of an often invisible group in need known as ALICE (Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed). They are preschool teachers, nursing assistants, delivery drivers, and, most importantly, our neighbors. They work hard to keep our community going but still struggle to get by.

You are part of the solution. Your donation allows United Way to offer services like VITA free tax preparation, co-create innovative pilots that become a model for the state, like our Medicaid Covered Doula Program, and support programs that make life easier for ALICE households in our community.
